Some current and former Section V track stars finished out the year at the Holiday Classic.  You can see the results and catch up on some Section V graduates here: Meet Results

The meet was open to all-comers, and a few outstanding performances that I noticed were:

HAC Junior Isabal Hirtelen-Booker blazed a 8.69 in the 55M Hurdles.  In a meet where events were almost exclusively won by college age and up,  Spencerport’s Maddie Kopp won the 400M with a 60.04 and Warsaw sophomore Karmen Auble won the pole vault 11’.  Section V graduate standouts attending included Cory Cox (East – Buffalo State) who won the long jump with a leap of 23-5, Brycen Spratling (Webster Schroeder – University of Ptitsburgh) who won the 800M with a 1:59.78, Tomarris Bell (McQuaid – University of Buffalo) won the high jump with 6-6¾ (2.00M!).  And for the master’s, winning the 40+ pole vault with a jump of 12’ was yours truly! (Greece Arcadia – Columbia).
