2013 Section V Indoor Track Week #1

Looking for who hit a National Elite Standard (see www.milesplit.com stats) at the very first meet.

 

In total, 17 girls and 3 boys made National Elite marks.

 

Four athletes made the Gold Standard National Elite Marks:

Mackenzie Strutz of Marion in the high jump with a 5-6

Georgia Tuttle of West Irondequoit in the 1500 with a 4:46.50

Eileen O’Hara of Webster Thomas in the 1500 with a 4:48.96

Haley Keene of Hilton in the 3000 with a 10:37.41

 

So our three boys who made National Elite marks:

 

Andrew Mullen of Brighton with a 1:26.59 outleaned

Colby Bleier of Pittsford Sutherland with a 1:26.70

in the Central Regions 600 for the boys race of the weekend!

 

Amir Rogers of NE/NW College Prep’s 7.70 in the 55M Hurdles in a dominating performance, next best in all 3 regions was a 8.23.

 

10 girl distance runners made National Elite marks (including 3 mentioned above)

Karli O’Neill of Churchville-Chili in the 1500 with a 4:58.31

Trista Leo of Penfield in the 1500 with a 5:03.10

Lindsay Hayer of Penfield in the 1500 with a 5:06.32

Shanon Page of Hilton in the 1500 with a 5:09.72

Autumn Albrecht of Brockport in the 3000 with a 10:42.59

Claire Ashton of Webster Thomas in the 3000 with a 10:43.27

Kennedy Jensen of Canandaigua in the 3000 with a 10:47.63

 

4 girl sprinters:

Demonica Stanley of Edison Tech in the 55 with a 7.36

Justin Sanders-Schifano of Sodus in the 300 with a 42.17

Hunter Robinson of Victor in the 300 with a 42.40

Ceara Watson of Rush-Henrietta in the 300 with a 42.90

 

3 girl jumpers (including Strutz)

Karmen Auble of Warsaw in the pole vault with 11-3

Amanda Burkey of Fairport in the high jump with a 5-4

 

Melissa Tylock of Penfield made the 4th best mark in the state in the 1500 Racewalk with a 7:36.97

 

And a few guys just missed the mark, but came close:

 

Will Ronchetti of Brighton in the 3200 with a 9:50.92

Desmond Mobley of Olympia in the High Jump with a 6-4

Ryan Cribbin of West Irondequoit in the Shot Put with a 51-06.25
