Late update: Demonica Stanley of Edison Tech is out for 6 weeks due to shin stress fracture. In both the 55m and long jump Stanley was ranked 1st in Section V and 6th in NYS.

Girls A Rush-Henrietta 106 Hilton 90 Webster Schroeder 55
Rush dominated the relays with 26 points and scored most of their remaining points on the track. They won the 4x800m, and took 2nd in the 4x400m (to Hilton) and 4x200m (to Schroeder). Ceara Watson won the 600m, took 2nd in the 300m and was on the winning 4x800m team. Alex Cooper won the 1500m and was on the winning 4x800m team. Tiaja Jeffries was 3rd in the 55m, 4th in the 300m, and was on the 2nd place 4x200m team. Siobhan Quinn took 3rd in the 3000m, 5th in the 1500m and was on the winning 4x800m team. Alana McDonald took 2nd in the 1000m and was on the 2nd place 4x400m team. Also scoring*: Brianna Lewis (2nd shot put), Afton Minavio, Emma Jones , Samantha Barr, Lauren Star, Sammy Watson, Xaelel Allen-Caballero, Emily Zeafla, Jessic Wisniewski .
Boys A Rush-Henrietta 107 Schroeder 71 McQuaid Jesuit 49
Rush dominated the relays even more for the boys with 28 points by winning the 4x200m, 4x400m, and taking 2nd to McQuaid in the 4x800m. Mickey Burke won both the 1000m and 1600m. Brennan Root took 3rd in the 3000m and 1600m and was on the winning 4x400m team. Josh Wray won the 300m and got a 6th in the long jump. Chuancey Scissum won the triple jump. Also scoring*: Pat Shenal, Valant Marou , Brian Matte, Mikey Schantz, Mehamed Abdurahim, Justin Briggs, Andrew Guglielmo, Malcolm Fowler.
Girls B Canandaigua 126.50 Mercy 111 Pittsford Mendon 69
Christine Lyttle not only won the 55m Hurdles which she has dominted in Section V Indoor, but she also won the 55m without hurdles to score the double win. Lyttle also contributed to the 4x200m relay 3rd place. Kennedy Jensen won the 3000m, took 2nd in the 1500m and was on the winning 4x800m team. Lauren D’Amore took 2nd in the 1000m, 3rd in the 1500m and was on the winning 4x800m relay. Kendall D’Amore took 3nd in the 1000m, 5th in the 600m and was on the 2nd place 4x800m team. The relays scored 24 with a win in the 4x800m, 2nd in the 4x400m (to Mercy) and 3rd in the 4x200m (Sutherland 1st, Mercy 2nd). Jessica Locke took 2nd in the triple jump and 3rd in the high jump. Boys B Olympia 98 Athena 65 Brighton 59
Desmond Mobley decided to learn hurdles to help out his team, so in addition to winning long jump and high jump (as expected) he also won hurdles for the triple win scoring 30 points for Olympia. Fellow Olympia jumper Craig Hardgers contributed another 24 points with his win in the triple jump, 2nd in high jump and 3rd in long jump. Olympia scored some on the track too with Carnell Noble taking 2nd in the 55m and 300m and contributing to Olympia’s only scoring relay, their 2nd place 4x400m (to Athena). Also scoring*: Tremaine Moore, Jefferson Ja’marie, Terry Taylor, Nick Faber.
Girls C Wayland-Cohocton 107 Batavia 79 Palmyra-Macedon 76
Meghan Curtin scored 30 by winning the 3000m, 1500m, and 600m. Madelyn Schwartz won the 1000m and the high jump. W-C scored 26 in the relays with wins in the 4x800m and 4x400m and 3rd in the 4x200m (1st Pal-Mac, 2nd SOTA). Also scoring*: Chelsea Bartlett, Courtney Lewis, Jessie Hammers, Amanda Booth, Hannah McKelvey, Alyssa Welytok , Addie Kelly , Madison Lewis .
Boys C Aquinas 139.66 Batavia 80.33 Palmyra-Macedon 47
Ben Drexler scored 26 points winning the 1000m and placing 2nd in both the 600m and 300m. Josh Hannah had the double win taking the 600m and 300m. Isaac Darling rounded out a 1-2-3 sweep in the 300m and also took 2nd in the pole vault. Alonzo Turney won the long jump and took 2nd in the 55m. Khris Greggs took 2nd high jump, 4th in the long and triple jump. The relays scored 20 with a win in the 4x200m, 3rd in the 4x800m (1st Pal-Mac, 2nd Way-Coh) and 4th in the 4x400m. Also scoring*: Andrew Hazelton, Michael Hackleman, Wyatt Lawler, Nathan Bardeen, Chris Begy, Terrance Richards.
Girls D Marion 87 LeRoy 62 Marcus Whitman 57
Marion dominated the relays with a win in the 4x200m, 2nd in the 4x800 (to LeRoy), and 3rd in the 4x400m (1st LeRoy, 2nd Byron-Bergen) for a total of 24 points. Mackenzie Sturtz scored another 20 points for Marion winning the high jump, 3rd in the hurdles, and 4th in the triple jump. Samantha VanGee did a 2nd in the 3000m and 3rd in the 600. Also scoring*: Kaylyn Whitney, Abby Higgins, Koutney Baker, Morgan West, Cheyanne VanGee, Breanna Raes.
Boys D Marion 84 Williamson Central 82 LeRoy 60
Tallon Rood scored 20 with a win in the 600m, 3rd in the 1000m, and 4th in the 300m. Brandon Vanderbook and Jared Gonzales scored 36 together by sweeping 1-2 in both the 55m and 300m with Vanderbrook 1st in the 55 and Gonzales 1st in the 300m. Ian Gillens won the shot put, Kyle Guisbert 2nd in the 1000m and the 4x400m team won.
Other Outstanding Individual Performances:
In addition to his 6-10 high jump Rubin Owens of LeRoy won the triple jumped where he's ranked 7th in the state.
An unprecedented 3 girls in NYS have cleared 12’ or higher in the pole vault in the same season, and even more unprecedented, Karmen Auble of Warsaw did it for the 5th meet in a row yesterday. Auble also won the shot put and took 2nd in the long jump for Class D.
Katie Lembo of Penfield lowered her 3000m time a bit more to 9:50.36 and she is at 5th on the state leaderboard.
Ceara Watson of Rush Henrietta moved to 7th on the state leaderboard in the 600m with a 1:35.93.
Maddie Kopp of Spencerport moved to 8th on the state leaderboard in the 300m with a 40.10 also won the 55m with a 7.34.
Melissa Tylock of Penfield moved to 8th on the state leaderboard in the 1500m racewalk with a 7:17.32.
