Ellis breaks her own Freshmen State record in PV

Neamtu runs fastest 3200 in the state

Rush-Henrietta and Batavia won both boys AND girls team championships at the Rochester Relays for large and small school respectively.

Madison Offhaus, sophomore from Warsaw, broke Claire Dishong's (Brockport) Weight Throw from 2009 of 43-03, with a 43-09.25 (NYS7).  Brealle Brown of Rush-Henrietta also came close at 43-02 (NYS8).

Erica Ellis raised broke her freshmen state record again and leads the state with 12-4.  Ellis took tries at a new Section V record of 12-7, and her goal is to someday break the unofficial record of 13-0 that Jenn O'Neill set a 2003 Indoor Nationals.

Nick Neamtu of Webster Thomas ran a 9:34.97 in the 3200 which is the fastest in New York State (all associations, all school sizes) for this season.

Rush-Henrietta Girls 4x200 team ran a 1:43.63 for 2nd best in state. RH Girls also won the 4x400, SMR and DMR and have the SVSB in all of those races.

Batavia's Girls 4x800 won CD and has the SVSB including all school sizes at 10:08.72 (NYS20)

Lanae-Tava Thomas of Rush-Henrietta triple jumped again, and her 37-05.25 ranks 2nd in the state.

Anthony Butler of Letchworth lengthened his SVSB triple jump to 46-00.50 (NYS3).

Kelly Brown of Wilson Magnet ran a 6.50 in the 55 (NYS3)

Alpha Barry of Greece Olympia took the SVSB from McQuaid's Tobi Tella with a leap of 22-7.25 (NYS6) along with his teammate Tremaine Moore's 20-11 (SV6) Olympia dominated the long jump.

Anthony Ray of Batavia out threw his own SVSB in the weight throw reaching 53-9 (NYS11)

Alanna Morrow lowered her 55 Hurdle SVSB to 8.75 (NYS16)

Gates-Chili's young vaulters include more than just freshmen girl Erica Ellis.  Their sophopmore-freshmen boy team of Dylan Delconte and Dustin Meyer handily took the pole vault with 12-6 and 12-0.

Amanda Vestri set a new SVSB in the 3000 with a 10:45.89 (NYS27)

Webster Thomas and Gates-Chili dominated boys hurdles taking 6 of the top 7 spots with Thomas's Gloskey the fastest at 8.08 and Justin Robinson of Fairport being the only boy from another school to break in the top 7 with his 2nd place 8.47.

McQuaid Jesuit took the Sprint Medley Relay and no one beat their 4x400 or 4x800 SVSB times from the Houghton Invitational.

Greece Olympia set a SVSB in the 4x200 with a 1:36.05

Northstar Christian's 4x400 3:40.45 could be the fastest Class D school time in the state.

The race of the night had to be the boys 4x800 with a tight lead-changing battle between Pittsford Mendon 8:38.38, Brighton 8:38.93 and Rush-Henrietta 8:39.20.
