Sammy Watson broke her own Section V Record in the 400 with a 52.69 to win the D1 group, this is 3rd fastest high school in the US and in the top 40 of USATF's overall United States list which includes college and pros. R-H Girls 4x400 also broke their own Section V record at 3:43.94.  Then on Saturday Sammy won the 1500 Federation with A THIRD SECTION V RECORD at 4:25.24 which is 5th fastest high school in the US, and then she ran the 400 Championship for the Federation win. The final race of the day was the Federation 4x400 and R-H’s time of 3:43.94 time in the D1 race on Friday was faster than any team ran in the Federation Championship Race or all weekend, but by this 3rd race of the day, 5th of the weekend, R-H didn’t have enough left to match their earlier performance and they took 4th. Her sister Ceara was right there with her on the 4x400 team and 3rd in the 400 Federation race.

Rush-Henrietta’s Girls still had more with their 4x100 team breaking their own Section V record for the 3rd time this season, this time with a 47.55.

Lanae-Tava Thomas (freshmen) won 8 medals, 4 Federation + 4 D1.
