Nathan Crane vaults to top state rank

Monroe County

In team scoring the Rush-Henrietta girls crushed the field with 129 points.  For the boys Churchville-Chili won a close one over Rush 70-68.

Lanae-Tava Thomas of Rush-Henrietta brought her 100 time down to 11.96 (NYS2) and Sammy Watson ran the 1500 in 4:32.54 (NYS8).  Thomas and Watson also went 1-2 in the 200. On the Section V Leaaderboard Thomas has the SVSB in the 100, 200 and Watson has it in the 400, 800 and 1500.

Erika Tillotson of Victor had another big week in the 400 Hurdles bringing her PR down from 63.48 to 61.88 and now ranks 2nd in the state.

Fairport Boys 4x800 clocked the first sub-8 of the season bringing the mark all the way down to 7:51.65 (NYS3)

Leah Hulbert of Rush-Henrietta threw the discus 127-06 (NYS6), she also won the shot put at 39-02 (NYS10)

Lukas D’Alfonso of Rush-Henrietta ran a 49.31 (NYS19) in the 400 to just eclipse the 49.32 that Noah Williams of McQuaid ran last week at the Louck’s Games.

Indya Richards of Gates-Chili brought her 100 Hurdles time down to 15.02 (NYS13)

Rush-Henrietta Girls 4x800 lowered their time to 9:33.43 (NYS22) 

Livingston County

Nathan Crane of Letchworth vaulted 14-10 for the top vault in the state (NYS1)

Anthony Butler of Letchworth long jumped 22-09.5 (NYS6)

Rochester City Athletic Conference

Kelly Brown of Wilson brought his 110 Hurdles time down to 14.34 (NYS2)

Shana Spinks of School of the Arts won the long jump with 18-0.5 (NYS13)

Wayne Fingerlakes

Andrew Hines of Sodus won the high jump at 6-6 (NYS3  6-way tie)

Genesee Region

Brandon Burke of Byron-Bergen won the high jump at 6-6 (NYS3 6-way tie)

Louck’s Games

Last week Dawson Bathgate lowered the SVSB in the 3000m Steeple to 9:37.80 (NYS10) 

Livingston Invitational

Jacob Plesums of Warsaw threw the discus SVSB with a 160-02 (NYS8)
