Rush Henrietta dominating the track.

Mickey Burke, Sammy Watson, and Alex Cooper are all in the top 2 in Section V, for three races each.

Burke is in a class by himself winning the 600 (1:24.33) and 1000 (2:36.11) this weekend with Section V season best times after having set the fastest 3200 (9:27.31) a couple weeks ago.

FRESHMEN Sammy Watson won the 300 (41.61) with her sister Ceara in 2nd (41.75) with the Section V season's bests(SVSB), and Sammy also took 2nd (3:04.36) to Alex Cooper in the 1000, and last week Sammy set the SVSB in the 600 (1:38.78).

Cooper won the 1000 (3:03.03, SVSB), took 2nd (4:45.79) to Penfield's Katie Lembo in the 1500 (4:44.75, SVSB), and two weeks ago ran the 2nd fastest SVSB in the 3000 (10:41.66), (leader Brockport's Autumn Albrecht 10:35.49).

Rush Henrietta girls are also fast in the sprints as this weekend they ran an SVSB in the 4x200 at 1:50.13 (Ceara Watson, Tori Thompson, Tiaja Jeffries, Emily Zeafla) and they've got Tiaja Jeffries at 7.56 just 0.09 off of Wilson's Catarra Burroughs 7.47 SVSB from this weekend.

And Rush even has a racewalker near the top with Afton Minavio clocking a 7:46.53 to win the CF group and the second SVSB to Monica LaBorde of Mercy (7:40.31).

If Rush had Greece Olympia's Carnell Noble who's undefeated and has been at the top of the leaderboard all 3 weeks for the 55m (6.54) and 300m (35.92) they would have it all (on the track).

On (and above) the track is the Hurdles which had the race of the weekend during the BE section with Gates-Chili's girls running the fastest two times of the season with Alyssia Colson wining at 8.67 barely outleaning Meaghan Schwartz at 8.68 and Imani Obieki of Edison in third at 8.94.

Obieki also broke out an 18' long jump for the win and has the second fastest 55m at 7.53.

In the field it's LeRoy's Rubin Owens who is dominating...adding to his huge triple jump from week 1, he won the long jump with a SVSB 22-00.25 and won the high jump for the weekend with 6-3 (Alexander's DJ Ohlson has the SVSB with 6-6 from week 1).
